Regarding Reading Between The Lines

The work incorporates images of a brain scan from Frihetsorganismen, alongside collages composed of photographs from the hospital in Pripyat—the town built for the Chernobyl nuclear plant—and from an abandoned children’s home on the outskirts of Chernobyl. These materials are brought together through a process that treats the exhibition space as an active element, working in close dialogue with its architecture and atmosphere.
The installation is realized through mixed media, including photography, cotton thread, canvas, paper collage, and an abundance of text.
