Blir H₂O blir nästan hemma
My work is much about experiences across multiple material registers. This gets extra focus in my artist’s books. The book becomes a space for itself, where text, image and material do not remain separate. Instead they overlap and unfold in repetitive sequences that require time and attention, requiring a more intimate engagement with the viewer.

In Blir H₂O blir nästan hemma, the two identical books incorporate a variety of papers, cotton thread, and layers of writing, charcoal, and ink, creating textured, tactile compositions that blend materiality with text. The work combines photographs of the ocean, beaches, and cliffs with prints of the artist’s own heartbeat line and fragments of personal text. Additional layers include pieces of notebooks, creating an intimate and textured exploration of memory, presence, and the passage of time.
